Serenity Sands at Cowpet Bay East

Amy was a great host. Accurate property description and very clean. The condo had everything we needed. Answered questions quickly and gave great feedback for local attractions and activities. She arranged a last minute sunset cruise for us within minutes (definitely recommend a sunset cruise)! Will stay here again for sure!

Condo was very nice and comfortable. The pool was really nice also. We enjoyed having a view from the balcony. Appreciated the use of beach chairs and cooler. We used them to go visit a nearby beach. We ate at Sangrias several times and the food was good.

Perfect spot for our family. Condo had everything we needed. Definitely would stay here again if we are in St Thomas.

This place was absolutely magical! We had the best time in St. Thomas and where we stayed played a huge part. Everywhere you looked at Cowpet Bay East, there were lovely little surprises. Our balcony ever overlooked the coolest little turtle sanctuary that someone clearly puts so much time and love into. The restaurants in walking distance were both delicious but the condo had everything we needed to cook too. Everything was so comfortable and thoughtful, Amy was a great host. We will definitely return! Thank you!

"Exceeded Expectations"

The property was clean and very well stocked. We literally had everything we needed right there. The beach wasn’t ever crowded and our teens loved the nearby pool. The restaurant and bar next door had AMAZING food and super friendly staff. Amy was always super helpful and responsive. I worked for a vacation rental company for many years and I can honestly say — this was a great experience.

This place was great! Well furnished, comfy beds and furniture. The condo was stocked with all your needs from beach chairs and coolers to floaties, coffee filters, dish detergent. It means thoughtful host and makes you appreciate the small things they have done to make it easy to arrive and start vacationing. Beach and pool were great, beach bar came in handy for breakfast and kid beach snacks etc. There is a beach stand to rent all sorts of stuff for water fun. Amy recommendation for snorkel gear was great, they dropped off and picked up as well as came back by to swap a mask that had a crack in it. Amy's dinner recommendation were great. Condo was clean, and comfortable. Loved the location. Highly recommend rental car if plan to venture which is highly recommended and def get a jeep! Roads are winding and hilly, but the magic of the island is all the great beaches to explore, grab the chairs, the cooler and check out, Saphire, Magens, Secret cove...dont miss "The shack" at hull bay!

"Perfect Stay!"

This was my first trip to St. Thomas and could not have asked for a more perfect stay. The weather was beautiful. The views spectacular. The food delicious. But what really made our stay was the condo and the grounds. The condo was so well decorated and clean and stocked, we lacked for nothing. It really felt like a home away from home. With such close access to the beach and pool and restaurants, I would have been happy never leaving! We had a wonderful time. Next trip I’m bringing my entire family and will be definitely staying here!

We just returned from staying at Serenity Sands for a week from Christmas to New Year's Day. Two adults and two teens. We had an amazing trip. This unit is exceptionally well stocked and nicely renovated. Plenty of room for everyone. It is clean and well maintained. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable week. Amy (property manager) was incredibly responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond to communicate and provide helpful recommendations for grocery delivery service, excursions, etc. The location is perfect. I appreciated the level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail. It was a wonderful vacation - hope to return again soon.

A group of friends rented the condo at Cowpet East for a week. We traveled from four different states to enjoy the St Thomas winter weather. Our unit was so conveniently located, it was perfect. Steps to a great beach, restaurants, bars and pool area. The condo was great with plenty of sleeping areas in its two bedrooms with attached baths to each. Living area was very comfortable for the little time spent indoors and the balcony perfect for morning coffee and evening cocktails & a card game. So close to Red Hook which had amazing eateries. Don’t over pack as there is laundry in unit. Can’t wait to come again!

"Met Our Needs Perfectly!"

We loved this condo in Cowpet Bay - it met our family's needs perfectly. A great well stocked condo with enough space for everyone to spread out, and with everything to make our time at the beach and at home enjoyable. The location was great, and after visiting other beaches in the area we were just as satisfied with the "downstairs" beach at Cowpet. Same for the local restaurants - CFM and Sangria's were great as well as the many restaurants in Red Hook.

We loved our condo and the surrounding property. The view from the balcony was wonderful. Lots of room for our family of 4. The A/C and fans cooled the condo. We had quick access to the beach, pool, beach bar and 2 restaurants on site. I would recommend to anyone traveling to St. Thomas.

"Amazing Location, Lovely Condo for a Relaxing Stay!"

The location and comfort of this condo is amazing. It is literally steps from the beach, where there were loungers and shade available everyday during our stay. The beach bar is great - we had fish tacos for lunch more than once. The condo itself is in excellent condition and the AC worked well when required. The kitchen was well stocked with all the equipment required and many condiments available in the cupboards and refrigerator. The wifi worked well in general and the smart TVs were sufficient for all our needs. There were a number of short power failures but these resolved in seconds or at worst minutes. We hired a car and drove onto the ferry to St John. Be prepared for steep hills and sharp turns on both islands. We used the car for sight seeing and trips to the supermarket - its something that may not be necessary if you intend to spend most of your time on the beach or by the pool. Overall a lovely condo for a relaxing stay.

Spectacular location and a beautiful condo with everything we needed for a fabulous vacation! The kayaking and snorkeling right off the beach was amazing. We loved the two restaurants and the pool and jacuzzi were always clean and nothing felt crowded! We had a great time and will definitely be back! "Comfortable, Clean Condo in an Idyllic Setting"

My family of five (2 adults, 3 kids ages 13, 12, 7) just returned from a week stay in this wonderful condo. We feel so lucky to have found this place and we are already talking about a return trip! The condo was nicely decorated in a beachy theme. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Loved the large balcony with table and chairs and two chaise loungers. The condo was clean and looked exactly as the pictures on VRBO. The location of the condo was great- on relaxed, quiet Cowpet Bay. The kids loved the large pool that was open until 10 pm daily. The beach was a nice size and pretty; we found other beaches that had more clear water and better snorkeling, but at a higher price tag. There are two restaurants on the property- Caribbean Fish Market (expensive, but delicious, dinner option- make a reservation online) and Sangria's (fun, beachside casual restaurant- delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner pizza and friendly staff). The location is a short taxi ride to the ferry terminal in Red Hook ($5pp each way) and we traveled to St. John three times. Highly recommend doing this- Trunk Bay is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen and we saw many sea turtles while snorkeling at Maho Bay. I recommended picking up sandwiches in the deli at Moe's Grocery Store located across the street from the ferry terminal in Red Hook, makes a great picnic lunch on the beach! We chose not to rent a car. The taxi fare adds up to about the cost of renting a car for the week, but without the hassle of navigating the tough terrain (especially on St. John). We never had trouble getting a taxi in a timely manner. Another tip if you're not renting a car- we ordered groceries ahead of time to be delivered to the condo before we arrived. It was so nice to arrive with a stocked fridge and beer already cold! The property manager is super helpful in coordinating the grocery delivery and anything else you want to plan during your trip. She responded quickly to all my inquiries before and during our stay. Hope my long review gives you a few traveling tips and the confidence to book this beautiful condo! Happy travels!

"Fabulous Week Here!"

We had an absolutely fabulous week in this condo! (“We” is me and my husband and our two teenage daughters). First, the communication with Amy before we went was comprehensive and very timely. She told us exactly what to expect, gave helpful directions and information. We were able to get into the condo exactly on time and it was awesome. Pictures we saw beforehand were very accurate and the space was perfect. A great living room, kitchen and lanai and two bedrooms each with their own bathroom, which was great. The place was so close to the beach and pool (as well as Sangria’s and the Caribbean Fish Market) and only 5 minutes drive from Red Hook and a ton more restaurants. Amy also helped us with other reservations (eg chartering a boat for the day) that were a ton of fun. We would highly recommend and would love to go back!

The condo was comfortable and well-stocked. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the communication with the rental company prior to our trip was excellent. The condo was well-situated on the property - literally steps from the beach, snorkeling, restaurants, the pool, and water sport opportunities. We traveled much of the island during our stay, but always agreed our "home-base" was the best place we couldve rented, and were eager to return to the quiet beach and comfortable atmosphere.

My husband and I along with his brother and wife stayed here. We were celebrating both Men’s retirement. Check in was easy. Amy was very helpful and graciously answered our questions and made good recommendations. The location was better than I anticipated from looking on the map. A very short cab ride to the ferry terminal to St John, a pretty beach seen from the balcony and also a great swimming pool and restaurant super close. I thought they would be a longer walk but they weren't. It was nice getting groceries delivered as well as opening the refrigerator and seeing condiments etc that previous guests had left for our use. Great trip- I would come back and I strongly recommend!

Location, amenities, and service. That’s what you look for with a vacation rental and this unit and having Amy to help us with it all, made for a perfect vacation. You are literally seconds from the beach, bars and rental equipment. It’s in a cleaner area of the island and we pretty much stayed in this area the whole time because it has everything you need. Amy is extremely helpful and can organize trips and activities for you to help make experience that much better. Will definitely be coming back to this place again in the future! Highly recommend working with Amy, you will not be disappointed!

This was my first trip to St Thomas and boy did it impress, and it all started with when we walked in the door of the condo. It was absolutely more than we expected. Beautiful inside and a stellar view, and our host, Amy is the hostess with the mostest! Generous with her time in answering questions and providing additional supplies when needed. "Great Location!"

This condo is a great location on the Bay with an easy walk to the beach. It is shaded in the morning making coffee on the balcony relaxing and peaceful. It had a more private feel where it is situated and you could have access to a smaller, somewhat exclusive section of the beach. The restaurant is top notch and with the reopening of Sangrias coming soon, the Bay has just about everything you could want. Amy is an excellent Host who provided a lot of information up front, along with offering other services to make your stay exactly what you are looking for. Whether that is just a relaxing atmosphere or full of activities and adventures. She always responded to questions in a very timely manner. We will definitely consider next year with Amy and highly recommend!

We had an amazing and comfortable stay even with 4 kids! The view and proximity to the beach, pool, restaurant, and Red Hook were the best. The condo was clean and well-equipped, would stay again for sure, thank you!

"Wonderful Place!"

What a wonderful place to stay in St. Thomas. This was our family's 1st visit to the island, and we didn't realize how crowded it can be. But no worries - this property is located in a spot that offers a bit of seclusion while yet being close to all sorts of shops and restaurants (including the ferry dock to make the short trip to St. John). The beach was beautiful, relaxing, and never busy despite the number of condos onsite. We made trips to several public beaches which were gorgeous, but of course, no place on the beach to stay. That made this property top of the list from our perspective (even a nicer beach that the Ritz Carlton!). The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed to do some onsite cooking (even parchment paper!). The cooler and ice packs were also nice as we used those nearly every day to keep things cold at the beach and also for our day trip to St. John. Highly recommend this property - you can't go wrong!

As a family of four adults we really enjoyed our 10 night stay. Being able to sit in the condo and hear the waves crashing was really enjoyable. The condo was well equipped and had everything we needed for our time there. The manager Amy was in constant communication before our arrival and made it easy to plan our vacation.

Great week at Cowpet Bay! We had 4 adults and a 3 year old with us and the condo was perfect. Great value for the stay. It was so close to Redhook, we always had somewhere close to eat and plenty to do. I would recommend getting a car because it’s not walkable. We would stay again

We’ve been coming to St. Thomas (Cowpet) for several years and this is, by far, the nicest unit we have ever stayed in. The renovation was clearly well worth it. You have truly thought of everything – from the beautiful floors, the quiet air conditioning, to the shelves in the master bath closet to the great drying rack on the balcony. Everything is labelled clearly. The showers are wonderful, brilliant idea to remove the old tubs. Thank you for a wonderful accommodation.

First impressions – WOW! This is our 20th visit to St. Thomas. Best condo yet and I feel my twin designed it (part of my job is designer). The layout is well thought out, the kitchen is terrific and well equipped (I usually buy spices, oil, etc. but it was all here). Great place to spend a week in January. Family had a wonderful time.

Stayed here for 6 days and welcomed in the New Year. I love Cowpet Bay and have stayed here 3x. Love your island and your condo. We want to buy a unit here. We are coming back next year and bringing his kids and my kids!

We have been visiting here for many years, and have stayed in many units since the 80’s. But this unit is the best we have ever stayed in by far! The decorating is superb, and we love the layout with the open kitchen. We will be back!
