Seaview Sanctuary at Cowpet Bay West

The condo was as advertised. In wonderful condition with beautiful views of the bay. Amy provided all pertinent information in advance and Staisha was very helpful with any questions/ requests during our stay. Would highly recommend this condo. St. Thomas was beautiful. Great beaches and great food. Several great dining options within 5 minute drive. We had a Jeep, which was great for exploring St. Thomas and St.John islands. Some steep climbs but lots of fun. Beautiful beaches and mountain views. Awesome vacation!

The property was beautiful, renovated recently with all new appliances, bedding and beautifully decorated. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Amy and her team were amazing with the communication and details for our trip prior to arriving. The view from our balcony overlooks the bay and the area was safe and clean. Located next to the Ritz Carlton and easily accessible to the ferry, excursion points and within walking distance to a beach on Cowpet Bay. I would 100% rent this next trip. Thank you for an amazing experience for our family that we will forever remember!

Had a great stay at Cowpet Bay! Walkable to the St. Thomas Yacht Club. Great place for a family to stay with plenty of room and excellent kitchen. We hope to be back!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This condo is exactly as described, it was clean, cozy and perfectly appointed! Very short drive to Red Hook. The bedrooms/beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and enjoy some family meals. The beach chairs and cooler were an added amenity that enhanced our vacation. Communication with the property manager prior to our trip was wonderful as well!

Amy and Staisha were great hosts. They proactively reached out ahead of time with a wealth of information and tips for the area. The condo itself was very nice, and looked exactly like the pictures and description. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amy provided a clean, beautifully decorated place for our family to stay during our vacation. Comfortable beds, nice linens, fully equipped kitchen that had everything and more than we needed, and a great location. Cowpet was one of the nicest most relaxing beaches we have ever visited. Amy and her team was very responsive if we had a question. I do like that we had plenty of trash bags, soap, shampoo, dish washing tabs, etc during our stay and did not need to purchase anything further and it helped us keep the place clean as well. Thank you Amy and your team for providing and exceptional vacation rental. I hope we will be able to stay with you again in the future.

This was our first time to St Thomas and this condo was an incredible introduction to the island. Amy was super responsive to some small things that came up. The condo was clean and well stocked. We cooked lovely meals almost every night and the kitchen worked well. We loved eating on the terrace. Our kids loved the guest room. The location is very convenient. We loved the little beach and the pool. We could easily get to grocery stores, restaurants and other beaches. We will come back to St Thomas and we would 100% rent this condo again.

Our entire family loved the condo and great location to the beach. We took advantage of the pool and location for local restaurants and jumping on the ferry to St. John. The condo was super clean, large and great balcony. Very nice touches and all the amenities to make it fell like our home. We would come back for sure. Thank you!

This property was absolutely wonderful! The condo was spacious and included everything we needed - beach chairs towels and even sunscreen! Amy was very attentive and gave great recommendations!

We had a wonderful time in St Thomas! The condo was perfect and exactly as presented in the pictures online. Our group was my husband and myself, our adult son and his wife and our adult daughter. We had a 3bd/3 bath unit and everyone was very comfortable. The kitchen allowed us to eat some of our meals at home and the living room/dining room and large deck was a great amount of space. The condo also had everything we needed for our vacation—beach towels, chairs, floats, snorkeling equipment and even sunscreen! We were close to the beach and pool, and there were 2 restaurants within walking distance. Everyone had a great time!

We had a great week! The condo was beautiful and perfect for our family of five. We took our three college age kids so the set up was great for us. It is so convenient to the beach, steps away! Also very nice having Sangrias right there for a quick, casual bite to eat. Amy was super easy and helpful to work with! Will definitely be going back!

We have traveled to St. Thomas many times and have stayed in hotels, condos, and homes. This property is exactly as described. Newly renovated unit in Cowpet East. Down a few steps and you are on a very pleasant and quiet beach with beach bar, some water sports, pool and hot tub. 5 min drive to Red Hook and all the restaurants and shopping there. Away from all the cruise ship crowds. Everything in the unit is new and functions well. Management team is professional and very responsive. Exactly as described.

The location of this place is amazing. There are many steps to go down to beach or up to car, manageable though. The beach was never over crowded and beautiful. The beach bar and restaurant had a fun happy hour and good food. The restaurant Sangrias was very good. Made good pizza. Didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. This Bay was beautiful. We had a very great and relaxing vacation. We would go back in a heartbeat!!!!

Everything about this place was great! Location was great. Near Red Hook for groceries and restaurants. It’s near popular beaches, and has its own little beach with a couple of great restaurants. The unit was well equipped including beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and a fully stocked kitchen. Saved us hundreds of dollars by not renting them on every beach! Would absolutely recommend this property!

There was everything you needed at the rental and if not, Amy was wonderful and responded very quickly. We took the ferry over to St John, was a wonderful day. We took the catamaran from the Ritz which was so much fun! They serve lunch and you can snorkel and we even swam with dolphins. Just a wonderful well needed trip. We would definitely rent there again

This was one of our most favorite vacations. The condo was perfect. Beautiful, clean and the best location to the beach, pool and two restaurants. Amy was so helpful in helping us navigate and experience the island. We loved it! Thanks Amy and team!

Beautifully updated and decorated condo located on the beach! Each couple had their own gorgeous bedroom and bathroom, and we all enjoyed the chic and comfortable living areas area and patio. Great kitchen for cooking, table for meals & game nights, as well as laundry room and beach/pool amenities. Basics such as paper goods, laundry detergent, spices and condiments were conveniently provided or left by other guests. Hair dryers and mini bathroom toiletries (shower gel, shampoo and conditioner) are also provided. We took a taxi for groceries & outings instead of renting a car (btw groceries are quite expensive in St. Thomas). Smiley Taxi was wonderful! No gym onsite, so we swam and took walks. Overall we loved our stay! Amy did a great job making it feel like home!

This condo is very nice, clean, and in a good location. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, which is a big plus! The 2 restaurants on location are very good as well. Beach and pool were great. Amy is one of the best host I’ve dealt with on Airbnb! Thanks so much for all your help, advice and quick responses to make this trip so great!!!!

Our stay was perfect, only 12 days was too short. Everything was so perfect my wife wants to go back tomorrow. So I'll start planning soon. Amy was very helpful and we all appreciated her assistance. The beach was a little rocky but water shoes solved that problem. The convenience of the beach and Billy's beach bar, AKA Sangrias, along with the Carribean Fish Market, was definitely some of the conveniences that made the trip so perfect, delightful, and mezmirizing.

My wife and I and our 2 adult children were at Bluewater Haven in Cowpet Bay East in late May. We all very much enjoyed our stay. The condo is as described/pictured. A very nice property. Everything is new and high quality. The snorkeling is quite good in the bay. We also visited Secret Harbor, which is about a mile away. We did need a taxi to get there as well as to Red Hook because there are no sidewalks or pathways for walking and the roads have no shoulders. Taxis are abundant though. It takes about 30 minutes to get to/from the airport. Plenty of restaurants and bars in Red Hook. The restaurants on property are Sangrias and Caribbean Fish Market. Both are good and the staff are very nice. If you don't mind the price, you will be very happy with this condo!

Amy was on her game approaching our trip and was communicating throughout our planning process from the details getting to and into the condo to planning excursions. Seamless. She was awesome to deal with. This condo was awesome, clean and had everything we needed. Truly a great location with gorgeous views and property amenities that exceeded every expectation.

The property is absolutely beautiful. Exquisitely decorated and appointed, amazing view, impeccably clean and in a wonderful location. We loved the intimate gorgeous beach, which was never crowded, and the kids really enjoyed the pool. It was located very close to Red Hook, ferry to St. John and beautiful local beaches. Amy was a pleasure. She responded very quickly to all of my silly questions! Couldn't have ask for a better place-- it was truly perfect for my family. Hoping to return!

Other than the airline losing our luggage for the first day, we had a spectacular stay at the Blue Water Haven condo. Excellent location with a very short walk to the pool, the beach (good snorkling), Caribbean Fish Market restaurant (recommended), and the Sangria Bistro (great service staff!). The condo itself was immaculate and had everything we needed for the week. Amy was great taking care of our dumb questions and minor problems. As we were waiting at the airport to go home, we all decided we wanted to come back next year and texted Amy to lock in the dates. Thanks Amy!

The condo is located on a small, quiet, beautiful cove with access to beach, water-sports, restaurants, and snorkeling. Amy, our property manager, is a great communicator and helped us feel at home with her attention to detail.

We loved this property, the condo is absolutely gorgeous, and the view and proximity to the beach cannot be beat. Amy was excellent to work with as well. We ran out of trash bags one day and she dropped more off within 30 minutes. We also had her book us a boat charter on Calypso Charters, taking away the hassle of doing it myself. I will absolutely consider staying here again, I have no complaints at all. Amy was also extremely accommodating when we needed a custom check in time. Thank you Amy for everything!

We had an amazing time during our 5th trip to St. Thomas! We have stayed at Cowpet before, but this unit was by far the most beautiful and well appointed. Our family of four had more than enough room, the unit is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Amy the property manager was amazing to work with, so responsive and helpful. We definitely will be returning!

We had a wonderful stay at Bluewater Haven over Christmas week in 2021. Amy was very communicative in advance of our trip and gave us lots of good information about the area and possible activities. The condo is modern and well decorated with three full en suite bedrooms. Unlike some other rentals it’s well stocked with everything you need - beach toys, towels, coolers, beach chairs, and plenty of household essentials like condiments, kitchen staples, cookware, etc. You have access to the pool and beach at the Elysian Resort where they have a nice restaurant (Carribean Fish Market), a casual beachside place that serves breakfast and lunch, and a pool bar. It’s a quick drive into Red Hook for restaurants, groceries, and the ferry to St John, though we relied on taxis rather than brave driving on the left side. Overall the quality and price were a massive bargain considering it was one of the busiest weeks of the year. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

This was one of the best vacations! The condo is absolutely amazing. The pictures are more than accurate. This condo is very well stocked with all your needs. Great location, a 5-minute ride to the ferry. Amy Dukes is an amazing host, easy to contact, and very informative. We were a group of adult family members and we all fit comfortably. The bathrooms are all so beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked. We had everything we needed to cook and bbq. The beach is beautiful. I would highly recommend the Caribbean Fish Market for dinner. The food and drinks are excellent. We will definitely be returning in the future!!!

Amy’s place was amazing! You can’t beat the location and everything was super clean. I also appreciated that there were quality blow dryers in each bathroom (not the cheap kind that most hotels provide). The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the view was stunning. The condo is right next to Kelly Cab service so taxis arrived with a minute or 2 after calling. Highly recommended!

This property is exactly as pictured (if not better), very clean, spacious and impeccably decorated. We mostly wanted to relax with our young kids so the beach is perfect as well as the pool. I felt comforted that the resort and island are strict about masking and COVID testing prior to entry. Amy Dukes is very responsive and helpful. We didn’t rent a car as we were not sure about driving on the left through the hills, etc, but it would have been nice if we were alone or with older kids. Moe’s grocery is in Red Hook, perfect for the nights we stayed in. We managed very well with taxis Smiley’s is great. Highly recommend the ferry to St John - Trunk bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Carribean Fish Market, the restaurant on site was very good- brunch especially- but expensive, as most places are on the island. You have to budget for everything being imported/expensive and just let it go. Overall a wonderful, amazing stay and perfect getaway. We hope to stay at Blue Water Haven again in the future!

This place is every bit as beautiful as the pictures indicate. Clean, the bathrooms are top notch, and just about everything you could possibly need stocked in the unit. Beautiful view of the bay as well. The property it sits on has everything you need from casual to fine dining. Amy Dukes the property manager is outstanding! Prompt replies to any questions you may have. Would rent again in a heartbeat!

For context, we were a group of 6 and none have been to St. Thomas. The Location: It was great - a nice beach front bistro and nice restaurant (Caribbean Fish) are steps away. Red Hook (more restaurants, groceries, etc) is a short drive or taxi. The condo beach is very nice with decent snorkeling as well. And if you want to sail Hobies, there is the St. Thomas sailing club on the bay you can “join” and take out when you want. The condo: One friend said “it’s better than the pictures”. It has everything you need and is very well done. Within the condo complex, it’s in a great location - quick access to the beach. Property Manager, Amy: my husband and I have rented numerous accommodations via VRBO. Amy is the most attentive and helpful of all of them. She is extremely well organized, answers questions promptly and provides useful information (and when you haven’t been to a place before, logistical information is like gold). Her taxi, car rental, food tour, snorkel boat and restaurant recommendations were spot on! And she helped us make those reservations. Highly recommend!

The condo looked just like the pictures. It had plenty of room for the 5 of us. The beds were very comfortable, The kitchen seemed equipped with most of the essentials. The beach in front was nice. It was very rocky getting in but wearing water shoes was a great help. We enjoyed the snorkeling as well. Both of the restaurants on grounds were very good and convenient. We used the grocery goddess delivery and that was great. We also used Smiley's car transport to and from the airport as well as anywhere else we went. They were great!! Always on time and very dependable. Contact with Amy was very easy. The walk down to the beach from the condo was very easy but coming back up was a challenge because it's uphill. Overall I would love to stay here again!

This property was impressive from the moment we arrived. Truly felt pampered and enjoyed every moment while in the condo and on the property! Amy was simply amazing and always available for any question we had! We had a last minute cancel from the company we were going to snorkel with and she quickly helped us find another solution! And that was the best day we had!! Look forward to coming back again soon!!

We loved Blue Haven and found it to be just as described. Every amenity we needed. So welcoming, clean and well equipped. Nice beach access, lovely views and lots of space. The location is superb, close to Red Hook and other beaches but with a nice beach and pool of its own. We enjoyed Sangrias and the Caribbean Fish Market. We highly recommend you stay here.

This beautiful place has been totally renovated with thoughtful touches throughout. Well equipped with beach chairs, towels, and even fairly complete pantry items. We enjoyed the kayaks on the beach, as well as exploring other beaches. The book left by Amy had great suggestions on things to see and do. The Caribbean Fish Market is fantastic! We also hopped over and explored St John for a day too. Would definitely stay here again!

We arrived on Monday, December 28th and from start to finish it was a fabulous vacation. Amy Dukes was our host and she was simply marvelous. Our accommodations were top notch and the location was ideal. We loved every single thing about our time in St. Thomas. Amy made sure we had all things covered from airport transportation, groceries in our unit waiting for us, suggestions on great restaurants, taxi drivers, amenities in our condo from beach chairs, towels for the beach, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, dish soap, bottle of champagne, condiments, etc... There was not one item missing that we needed. I can not recommend this property or her more!! We will definitely return and book again. Don't walk - run to book this property with Amy!! We highly recommend!! Thank you for kicking off our 2021 in such a lovely way!! Cowpet is the BEST!!

The condo was perfect for our family of five. Plenty of room with 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Location was perfect, just minutes from Red Hook, the car ferry, and surrounding beaches. We are very happy with the overall experience!

First of all, I cannot say enough about how great and attentive Amy was thru our experience. We travel to at least one new island a year and St Thomas and Cow Pet Bay East were terrific. The condo was to the 9s and the beach was so relaxed. We meet a few owners on the beach and they suggested different places for us to go which really made this vacation special. You don't get that personal direction at resorts. Due to Covid, we chose to not stay on a resort which, I was worried about but this vacation will be tough to beat. Since we did not want to cook at the condo (fully stocked kitchen) we took taxi's into Red Hook which was a breeze. We exercised by running the hills in the complex and walked to the Ritz for the spa. Our only minor issue was the Caribbean Fish Market on site was great for dinner/cocktails (brunch amazing) wish it had been open for lunch. Overall, I'd come back in a heart beat and it would have been perfect for our kids.

Perfect Villa for 2 families or multiple generations. Very clean and quiet with beautiful view of private beach. Beach chairs, cooler, laundry soap, well equipped kitchen and a few other nice surprises. Walk to Caribbean Fish Market. 5 minutes to Red Hook and other restaurants. Moes Market, Chelsea pharmacy, ice cream and a few other shops also in Red Hook. Location was great for exploring various beaches. Pool was closed for repairs when we were there, only 4 feet deep at maximum point so we didn't miss it much. Area is probably much more active when Sangrias and the pool bar are open, but those are both closed until 2021. We would book this same Villa again!

Property was outstanding, and very accurately represented in the online description and photos. We had a party of 9, and the condo accommodated us great. We used the kitchen, dining and living space daily, as well as the beach daily. We did not go to the pool; our group are ocean goers. The location was great, as it was very close to Red Hook (approx 1.5mi), so the grocery store, restaurants, bars, and lite shopping were easily accessible. The Caribbean Fish Market is located on property, and the food was outstanding. The beach bar was under construction during our stay. The Red Hook ferry landing is right there in Red Hook, so it was a very easy way to get to St. John for daily excursions. It was easy drive to Sapphire Beach. Magens Bay was about 20 to 25 minute drive. Secret Harbour was easy to get to, as well as Bolongo Bay (15 mins).

The condo was great. The owners did a great job remodeling. The pool, beach, and restaurant were very close. Overall a wonderful place to stay.

We had a great week at this newly renovated condo on St. Thomas. Everything was very new and top quality just as the pictures showed. Amy was awesome to work with and answered every question we had during our stay. We will be back for sure to this condo. Most of the restaurants in the area are open for business again as well. If you get a chance renting a boat from Over the Line Charters will make it even better. Amy can help you with all your needs. The only bad thing I can say is that we had to leave.

The place was brand new from the post hurricane total renovation. Amy was very responsive to our high maintenance needs of the women in our party! Am glad the island is close to back to normal from the hurricanes. One of the few places to stay on the island with great beach access and snorkeling.

We could not of ask for a better condo. The location was exactly what we wanted and it was on the beach. ( away from the cruise ship area) The pool and hot tub we used daily. The condo Is also about 5-6 minutes to Redhook , which has lots of restaurants, shops and a grocery store. You can also jump on charter boats or the ferry and go over to St. John. We did the charter boat(Sweet Pea) which Amy recommended. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. They took us to Honeymoon beach, a secluded beach which I asked for and an area with good snorkeling and we swam with sea turtles, which was so awesome and we are all still talking about. We also did zip lining in St. Thomas. We all loved it and got amazing pictures! At first we didn’t rent a car, but then realized the taxi’s all charged at least $25 every time you call them. You do drive on the opposite side of the road, but you get used to it quickly and it wasn’t bad at all. We got to explore several more beaches by renting one. Magens beach was one of them. Definitely go there! It is gorgeous. We rented chairs, umbrellas, and kayaks. There’s also a restaurant right on the beach. Anyways, we will definitely be coming back to this condo and area. We fell in love with everything!!!!! Amy is awesome as well. Communication was perfect and all her recommendations were spot on! Thank you so much Amy!

Super Clean, gorgeous newly rnovated condo! We had plenty of room, beautiful view, walk to beach and dining. Amy was the best hostess we have ever had. Very helpful, responsive and always a quick text away if we needed her. Condo was well equiped with everything we needed.

We had the most amazing stay. Not only is St. Thomas a perfect paradise, the location and condo were both absolutely breathtaking. The home is beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, very cozy and homey. The veiw was also perfection. We can not wait to return ASAP.

I would rent this condo again in a heartbeat. It is well equipped and beautifully furnished, and the spacious floor plan provides plenty of room to hang out together as well plenty of privacy. Morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the bay was a treat. We loved being just minutes from Red Hook for easy access to restaurants, groceries, boat charters and the ferry to St. John.

I have to admit we were nervous about booking this condo because we booked long before the renovations were complete, and there weren’t any pictures available. Upon arrival, we were so HAPPY with the place that we were going to call home for the week. The décor of the condo is modern, but beachy, and everything was very well done with a lot of attention to detail. In short, we LOVED it!

We were also very happy with the conveniences that the condo offered. Every detail had been considered. We had beach chairs to take with us to the island's beaches, a cooler for packing picnic lunches, there was sunscreen and laundry detergent, a Keurig coffee maker and a regular one, and anything necessary for cooking dinner, including a brand new grill.

The beach at Cowpet Bay was nice for a home base, and we spent some of our time there. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and we were so happy that it was open in time for our trip. It was never difficult to find chairs, and the morning views of the boats in the water was a perfect start to the day from our balconies.

Amy was very nice to deal with; she answered all of our questions in a timely manner and tried to make our stay as convenient as possible. We arrived a little before check in time after a LONG day of travel, and even though the condo wasn’t quite ready, she let us take over the master bedroom to get changed into our suits and drop off our luggage. We also had a late flight out of St. Thomas and she let us keep our suitcases in the condo well after check out time.

You won’t be disappointed booking this condo or visiting St. Thomas. We had a great time, and are already discussing the possibility of coming back to do some of the things that we couldn’t squeeze in!

Great location close to Red Hook. Beach was great and Caribbean Fish Market restaurant was delicious! Amy the property manager was so great! She gave us a lot of ideas of places to eat and things to do! We love St. Thomas and this condo didn’t disappoint!

This was our second time staying here and I can't say enough about the place! Great location as well as beautiful accommodations. We have stayed at other places on STT but can truly say that this is definitely our favorite.

We spent 9 nights here with another couple. Had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed the villa, the location, the views and amenities. We had several very good meals at Sangrias - just steps from our place. We took two trips on the sailing ship Nightwind - enjoying two full days of fun, good food, snorkeling and relaxing under sail. Those trips were one of the highlights of our vacation. We will would highly recommend this villa. Many great restaurants nearby and beautiful sandy beaches just steps away. Definitely missing the beautiful teal colored waters, colorful fish and sunshine. Hope to return sometime.
